Welcome to the White Leaf Poetry Book Competition for 2010.
From 1st January until 30th June you can enter your poems to have a chance of appearing in book form.

In July, up to three poets will be selected to appear in book form.
The books will be published in the autumn of 2010.

Please read the entry guidelines below carefully.

Who can enter?
Anyone who has not had a full collection of poetry published.

How many times can you enter?
There is no limit on the number of entries.

What kind of poems should you send?
Please read the poems on the site (in the White Leaf Review) or in the Anthology or pamphlets to get an idea of the kind of poems to send. Poems can be any length. Limit for overall entry is 24 pages. Poets may be requested to submit more poems with a view to publishing a full-length collection.

Will you receive feedback on your entry?
We are unable to offer feedback at this stage.

If no collection achieves a high enough standard, no prizewinner will be chosen. Entry in the competition will be deemed to be acceptance of these conditions.

Is there an entry fee?
Yes. Entry fee is £10.

To enter online (via email):
At the bottom of this page there is a Pay Pal Pay Now button. Type in your name (or pen name).
Click on the Pay Now button and make your payment.
Click on the 'Return to White Leaf Press' button. Pay Pal will then direct you to the submission page which contains an email address to send your entry to. Please ignore the 'Security' pop up from Pay Pal if one appears. It is only a formality.
Please be aware that your entry will only be considered once your Pay Pal payment has been received. You should then receive an email to that effect.
